Health Education & Risk Reduction
YAP's Health Education and Risk Reduction program offers a space for young people (ages 13-30) living with HIV to discuss health related topics, build community with others, and share stories of living with HIV. These events take place approximately once a month. In the past, we've attended sporting events, watched movies, played games, hosted guest speakers, and shared food, among other things. By attending these events, you can learn more about how to manage your health while living with HIV and meet others with similar experiences. Even though these events are primarily designed for people between 13 and 30 who are living with HIV, all community members, friends, and family are welcome to attend.
